- Why are your prices so awesome? Is there a catch?
We get this question a lot. The answer is simple, we want to be a blessing to gospel centered churches, church plants, missionaries and ministries. Some companies charge much more because of the perceived value it creates for their services. We care about providing top quality website designs and hosting services for every ministry that needs it. It sounds crazy but we don’t see this as a profit making machine but rather a ministry. We have a heart for ministries and we want to help them fulfill the purpose God has for them.
- Why $44.99 per month for hosting?
It’s more than just simple hosting, it includes a CMS, updates, email and phone support along with our years of experience helping ministries connect with people.
- Are there any hidden fees?
No. $99.99 one-time setup fee, for new churches and $249.99 one-time setup fee for establish churches, $44.99 per month hosting charges. Any voluntary custom design or development work you would like is $80/hour.
- Are there any long-term contracts?
- Nope. Everything is month to month, which means no long term contracts.
- What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards and debit cards. You can also pay directly from a checking or savings account using an ACH/echeck.
- Are your websites easy to edit? Is there any learning curve?
Yes, our sites are easy to edit. If you are comfortable browsing the Internet, sending emails with attachments and using Facebook then editing our sites will be a piece of cake.
Most users pick up on the editing tools very quickly. We also have a whole library of video tutorials and walk-throughs that can help you discover all the rich features that come with our sites.
- What are the odds I will come across a site that looks just like mine?
- Pretty low. Most of our partners get an hour or two of customization’s to the base design to better match their ministry’s unique look and feel. Also the CMS allows you to change everything from pictures and text to page layouts so your site will always look unique.
- Do I need any special software or skills to create my new site?
Nope. Everything you need is built into the website so you can edit your website online. We used wordpress as the CMS your design is built directly into the CMS so that you can log-in and start making changes immediately. Plus, the CMS is compatible with all browsers. We even had partners update their website from the Apple store.
- Are there any limits to the number of pages I can have?
No way. We do not want to limit your ministry in any way. Depending on the design you choose there might be an optimal number of main navigation buttons that look good. For instance, you don’t want your navigation running off the edge of the page. If you have lots of pages and are not sure how to organize them, turns out we have lots of experience building websites and we would love to help you organize your content.
- Will my new website be search-able by Google or other search engines?
Yes. To keep it as non-nerdy as possible, all of the content from your site as well as additional keywords are formatted so that all search engines can understand and easily index. We even have a few tips to help you get higher rankings on those search engines.
- Can I change my design after I make a purchase?
Yes. You can change your design at any time. If you have not gone live with your site then we can change the design for you for free. If you have gone live with your design and wish to change designs then it would cost $125. Also, most of your content will transfer to your new design to make it easier and faster for you to switch designs.
- What if we are looking for something completely custom?
We offer custom design work on any of our website designs for only $55/hour. Common customizations are backgrounds, custom page layouts, color matching, etc.
- Do I need a domain name before I buy a website or do you take of that for us?
Yes, you would need to purchase a domain name. We also do not take ownership of your domain when you transfer to us. We believe that you should have the freedom to control your own domain name. If you don’t have your own domain name we would recommend purchasing your domain through Omnis Network @ Omnis.com, or have us do it for you. You should not be paying anymore then $9-$15 per year.
- What kind of servers do you use? How do I know my website is safe and secure?
We currently utilize Dell PowerEdge servers, reinforced by a world-class datacenters in Texas, Washington DC, Seattle, Singapore and the United Kingdom, ALL under one roof! And each of our datacenters offers you world-class network speeds and reliability. Our servers are also secured to multiple power feeds, fiber links, dedicated generators with on-site fuel storage, and battery backup. They are built from industry-leading hardware and equipment, ensuring the highest level of performance and reliability.
- Can we host a Web Faith Media website on our own servers?
No. Web Faith Media do not allow the hosting of sites we setup to be hosted on your own servers. Your monthly fee includes not only the hosting of your files and content, but also the setup and development of your site.
- Is Web Faith Media a Christian company?
Yes, we are. We believe that a relationship with Jesus Christ is the only way to find peace with God. We want to help spread the good news of Jesus to our communities, our nation, and around the world by partnering with ministries in creating websites, graphic design, and printed media.
- Why do you refer to your customers as partners?
We see the church plants, churches and other ministries that we serve as partners in spreading the gospel. This means that we don’t see ourselves as web designers with customers but rather we see ourselves as a gospel company that partners with local churches and ministries to spread the good news through the use of technology, graphic design, online strategies and printed media.
- How do I know Web Faith Media will be around for years to come?
We’ve been in business since 2000 and have seen exponential growth every year and we serve churches and ministries. We have never been in debt and we manage our business ethics according to the Scriptures. These facts give us credibility and confidence that God will continue to bless Web Faith Media.
- Are there any limitations to who you will work with?
We offer our services to any gospel centered church, church plant, missionary, or gospel centered non-profit ministry. By gospel centered we mean that your church/ministry believes and teaches that faith in Jesus Christ is the only requirement for eternal salvation. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9(ESV). We ask that anyone wanting to partner with Web Faith Media agree with the above statements before purchasing a plan.
- How do I get started?
It’s easy. Choose a Plan and click on the purchase link which will take you to a secure payment page and short questionnaire. After you have completed your purchase, you will receive an automatic email confirming your purchase has been accepted. Now, you can sit back and relax for a few day’s while we do some work on our end. The primary contact will then receive an email (within a few business hours) with all the information needed to get started, including some next steps and a unique url to access your new website.
